This May, 19 3rd and 4th grade classes from around Michigan participated in the Where in Michigan project. Another 48 classes participated in the simpler Michigan Week Exchange project.
Here are some snippets from today’s Where in MI event.
Roseville used a PowerPoint for their clues and modeled excellent wait time after each slide. The pauses were very helpful for writing down the information.
Some of the classes used posters. The Lansing class had some nice clear posters:
St. Joseph students wrote their clues as poems and riddles.
After the presentations, students worked very hard to research. One of the presentations was very tough, so after clarifying questions, everyone researched even more to figure out the last classroom’s presentation.
At the end, the classes waved goodbye and said thank you. Great job, everyone!!
